Principal Accountant
Richard is the principal of the firm and has been working in the accounting field for over 35 years. Richard worked in both commerce and private practice before establishing the firm in July 1995. Richard specialises in Business Consulting Services as well as Taxation and Accounting. He is a current member of the National Board of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and was recently appointed to the role of Deputy President.
He was also a Commissioner for the SANFL for 10 years following 11 years on the board of the Sturt Football Club, which included 6 years as President. Richard has also held board roles on various Arts and Community Bodies.

Office Manager
Catherine is the Office Manager and Richard’s PA. She has been working with Richard since 1991 and has been in the Accounting Industry for over 39 years. Catherine runs the administrative and procedural operations of the firm and has immeasurable experience in running an Accounting Practice. Catherine is your primary contact when calling the office and is always happy to assist and/or direct your enquiries. She has an exceptional rapport with the clients and staff and always has time to listen.

Senior Accountant
Shilo is the Senior Accountant of the firm, who has established an impressive career in the Accounting field for over 17 years. Shilo has a passion for numbers and a genuine commitment to achieve the best outcomes for clients. Her expertise in the Accounting Industry sets her apart from others in her field and Allen & Co Accountants is delighted to have her on board.

Junior Accountant
After spending 9 years in the entertainment industry as a sound engineer, Will has decided to change gears and is now studying to become an Accountant. Will is also undertaking a Xero bookkeeping course, is actively working in the practice negotiating Tax Office matters, assisting with administration and reporting for the business and clients. Will has also discovered that working for his Father is not such a bad thing after all.
